Host Hotel and Competition Center

The event organizer is providing one pilot hotel room with check-in Friday, August 17, 2012 and check-out Saturday, August 25, 2012.  Please note that the closing ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday afternoon and those unable to get a late departing flight will need to pay for an additional night’s stay if intending to check out on Sunday, August 26.

Pilots desiring to arrive early or depart late will be responsible for the cost of their hotel room beyond that provided by the organizer.  Hotels will require a credit card to guarantee any room nights beyond that provided by the organizer.

The McCamly Plaza Hotel and adjacent Kellogg Arena is our host hotel and location for on-site pilot registration, all pilot briefings, opening and closing ceremonies.  The host hotel will be used to house event officials and observers while pilots will be housed at various locations in the Battle Creek, MI area.  The McCamly Plaza Hotel is a non-smoking facility.

Pilot and Crew Hotels

Pilot hotels will be assigned and booked by the event organizer.  The organizer will begin assigning hotel space based on registered pilots and additional crew room needs after the close of the deadline for all registration materials and fees, April 30, 2012.

Pilots desiring additional crew rooms, at their own expense, will need to advise the organizer as to the quantity of crew rooms needed using the on-line pilot registration form.  Additional crew rooms will need to be guaranteed directly with the assigned hotel with a credit card.  These will also be assigned and booked by the event organizer.

The organizer will use its best efforts to assign pilots and crew from each NAC at the same hotel pending the number of rooms available and the number of crew rooms booked by a given country.
